Katerina Oikonomou is a London-based coloratura soprano whose work spans classical opera, contemporary performance and screen acting. She graduated from the Athens Conservatoire with a Diploma in Opera and has continued her professional development through advanced studies in acting, on-camera performance and stagecraft, alongside performance-art training with Marina Abramović and the Marina Abramović Institute.
Her recent operatic roles include the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte, Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail and Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte.
A laureate of the Mozart Competition in Vienna, Katerina has also received first prizes at international competitions.
Fluent in Greek and English, with a working knowledge of several European languages, she brings a physically grounded and expressive approach to both stage and screen. Her additional performance skills include dance, martial arts, fencing and motorcycling.
